- Visually Speaking - Rhonda Campbell

Photography Art, Fine Art Photography or Fine Art Painting, it’s all art to Rhonda. She likes to mix it up. After getting a degree in Art and Photography, she found a way to combine the traditional with the digital world. She has taught, judged, worked in galleries as a coordinator and a curator. She has won numerous awards for her art. John Campbell, her husband, is also a photography artist. His specialty is Photo Sketches. His former career was software engineering.

John and Rhonda Campbell are represented by the Viewpoint Photographic Art Center in Sacramento. They both have portfolio draws with photographs to view and purchase.

- Solo Exhibits - 

2019 - May 7th to June 1st - Out of the Blue with John and Rhonda Campbell will be featured in the Step Up Gallery in the Viewpoint Photographic Art Center. The exhibit is alternative photography, using Cyanotype. Cyanotype is a chemical process painted on watercolor paper and exposing it to the sun. Many of Rhonda's have been hand painted with traditional paint or drawn on with ink. There will be a reception May 10th (for members) and May 11th. Please join us and meet the artists. 

2018 - The Campbell Prints were in the Art League of Lincoln, Spotlight Gallery, featuring Cyanotypes and Monotypes. 

2012 - What's Real? Mannequins of the World, was a solo exhibit for Rhonda in the Step Up Gallery.

Other art achievements - 

Rhonda was the founding president of the LH Photography Club and a founding BOD member for the Art League of Lincoln. John started and lead a Special Interest Group for the LH Photography Club. The Photography Club had a group exhibit in the Crocker Museum, 36 Views of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Rhonda has been featured in photography magazines, books and newspaper articles. John and Rhonda have also published books.

Rhonda says her most exciting moment was exhibiting in the Crocker Museum for one month. She has also been in the Crocker BNSA auction and the KVIE Art Aucition. In KVIE she won the Jurors Award in Photography for her "A Hemingway Mood" in 2011. She has been a "Bell Ringer" for other years. (Meaning, the bid went over the retail value.)
